Biography

Alexandra (Ally) Turco is a third-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University pursuing a dual degree in Population Medicine (MD-MSc). After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, she worked on cardiovascular health initiatives at Mount Sinai Hospital in collaboration with the NYC public school system and completed Doula training. She is currently working on a Collaborative Care intervention out of Women and Infants Hospital to address perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She also works closely with the Street Medicine Initiative to expand cervical cancer screening and reproductive care to underserved communities in Providence, RI. Ally plans on becoming an OB/GYN after completion of medical school.
